209 employees with 401 family members turned up and enliven Bahru’s Tree Planting and Family Open Day.

This was double the organizer’s initial target of 300 headcounts. Participants were arriving as early as 7.45 am and a constant traffic of arrival continues up to 9 am. All participants were treated to a variety of food, drinks and ice-cream.

Taking on a carnival mood, employees and family members took part in various exciting activities like family plant visit, mini zoo exhibits, clown show, fishing games, fire-fighting demonstration, archery, tele-matches, biking, pony riding, kids coloring contest and lucky draws.

In fulfilling the CSR environmental pillar, the CEO led a team of 25 pax to plant 100 Fragraea fragrans trees within the factory area.The trees are expected to grow in tandem with Bahru’s growth and will be a symbolic gift by Bahru to signify its commitment in protecting the environment that it operates in.
