Understanding how much a good education can shape and change a person’s life, Bahru took an initiative under its Education Pillar of CSR Programme and worked together with 3 selected secondary schools in Pasir Gudang.

Bahru donated a total of more than 200 reference books and 4 units of brand new computers together with printers to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pasir Gudang 1, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pasir Gudang 3 and Sekolah Menengah Tanjung Puteri Resort.

The contributions hopefully will assist the hundreds of students with exam reference materials, teachers with added tools in IT related teaching and schools to produce students who excel at their critical national examination.

This programme is just the first of many more to come and Bahru remains committed to raising the living standard of its workers, their family members and the surrounding local community.
